The Luna Ultra combines a 1-inch main sensor with a Leica Summicron lens and a separate 1/1.3-inch telephoto sensor, giving creators both wide and telephoto perspectives in a pocket-sized stabilized camera.

Product Description

The Insta360 Luna Ultra is a flagship dual-lens gimbal camera co-engineered with Leica Camera. It is designed for vloggers, filmmakers, travelers and content creators who want high-end image quality, optical flexibility and mechanical stabilization in a compact handheld camera.

Its primary camera combines a 1-inch sensor with a 20mm-equivalent f/1.8 Leica Summicron lens, while the dedicated telephoto camera uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor and 60mm-equivalent f/2.0 lens. This dual-camera setup makes it possible to capture wide environmental scenes as well as tighter portraits and distant subjects.

Luna Ultra records up to 8K/30fps and 4K/120fps, while 10-bit I-Log and Dolby Vision provide additional flexibility for cinematic workflows. Its three-axis gimbal provides physical stabilization, while AI-powered tracking and focusing help keep moving subjects framed and sharp.

For storage, the camera provides 47GB of internal storage and supports compatible microSD cards up to 2TB. The detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen has a 1000-nit rated brightness, making it useful for framing, monitoring and camera control.
